The Goodspeed Collection
By far our largest online collection, the Goodspeed Collection was featured on the Memories of Massena Facebook Group in the form of a Power Point Presentation which contained over 1000 photographs from the early 20th century. The pictures include the construction of the Massena Power Canal and the original St. Lawrence Power Hydrodam, the establishment of the Pittsburgh Reduction Company (ALCOA), and the construction of The Grove, a section of Massena built by Alcoa to house its workers.
